The Corridor Program Office (CPO) intends to advance mobility and safety improvements to North and South Lamar that are funded by the 2016 Mobility Bond.
Upgraded Bike Lanes on Congress Avenue
Bike Austin led a broad coalition effort to install protected bicycle lanes on Congress, which run from E Riverside Drive to 11th Street at the Texas State Capitol, after an initial trial of temporary bike lanes beginning in July in response to the COVID-19 pandemic
Prop 1 Passed: 2016 Mobility Bond
Bike Austin members, volunteers and supporters rallied for over a year to secure the biggest investment in Austin’s history for protected bike lanes, trails and sidewalks in the 2016 election.
