2020 City Council Elections
Five City Council seats in Districts 2, 4, 6, 7, and 10 were on the ballot for the November 3, 2020 elections. The results are below. Districts 6 and 10 will go to a runoff election on December 15.

District 4: Incumbent Greg Casar won reelection. Council Member Casar has been a great supporter of biking and walking, and Bike Austin was proud to endorse him for reelection. For Council Member Casar’s answers to the Bike Austin / Walk Austin questionnaire, click here.
District 6: Incumbent and Bike Austin endorsement Jimmy Flannigan and Mackenzie Kelly will go to a runoff election on Dec 15th. Bike Austin endorsed Flannigan previously, and we remain supportive. Council Member Flannigan has a mostly positive record on bicycle/pedestrian issues.

District 10: Incumbent Alison Alter and Jennifer Virden will go to a runoff election on December 15th.
